Frontier-technology private markets
R3i is a frontier-technology private-markets firm specialising in transactions where technical complexity, regulatory constraint and fragmented ownership make execution difficult.
We originate opportunities, establish whether they can clear, structure the transaction and coordinate execution through the appropriate legal, regulatory and capital pathways.

01 · The problem
A company may be exceptional. A buyer may be credible. A seller may be willing.
The transaction can still fail.
Title may be unclear. Authority may be incomplete. Transfer rights may restrict the buyer. Regulation may change the route. Economics may not survive diligence. Settlement may not be executable.
R3i begins before capital moves. We ask one question first:
What must be true for this transaction to clear?
02 · How we work
One operating loop, applied to every mandate.
Identify proprietary opportunities, counterparties and transaction pathways where R3i has a defensible reason to participate.
Test the facts, constraints, authority, economics and regulatory route before a transaction advances.
Design the legal, economic and execution architecture required to convert interest into an executable transaction.
Coordinate the appropriate counterparties, professional advisers and regulated execution providers through closing.
Capture observed outcomes so future decisions improve rather than begin from zero.
03 · R3i decision architecture
Clearance is R3i's proprietary decision framework for determining whether a transaction can proceed, under what conditions, and what must change before it does.
Rather than forcing every opportunity into a binary yes or no, Clearance records one of six outcomes.
Clear
Proceed.
Clear with conditions
Proceed once specified conditions are satisfied.
Reroute
The opportunity is valid; the proposed transaction path is not.
Reprice
The structure may work at different economics.
Delay
Evidence or conditions are not yet sufficient.
Block
The transaction should not proceed.
Clearance is currently being operationalised through R3i's DealDesk. Broader applications remain in development. Explore Clearance →
04 · Mandate
R3i works where proprietary technology, strategic assets, regulation and private-market complexity intersect.
AI · advanced compute · autonomy · defence
Energy · water · industrial infrastructure · critical materials
Health · life sciences
Sector boundaries matter less than the underlying question: is the asset scarce, defensible and capable of becoming institutionally executable?
05 · Evidence
R3i distinguishes principal investments, transaction mandates and advisory work, and reports them separately. We do not combine them into a single activity number.
Selected principal investments, and the basis on which each is stated, are set out on the track record. Mandate detail is available to qualified counterparties under non-disclosure agreement, following KYC and compliance clearance.
06 · Institutional architecture
Private-market complexity cannot be solved by introducing two counterparties and hoping a transaction closes.
R3i operates across a defined legal and professional architecture, with regulated securities activity conducted through appropriately authorised providers where required.
Each mandate defines R3i's role, transaction counterparties, execution pathway and any principal or related-party interest before capital moves.
07 · Engagement
For shareholders, companies, GPs and strategic counterparties with a defined private-market transaction — and for institutional investors, family offices, sovereign capital and strategic allocators.
